Licensed to practice law in South Carolina since 2014, Woody DuRant’s practice focuses on real estate, wills, trusts, estates, and contracts. Known for his intelligence, work ethic, and understanding approach, Woody is the trusted, go-to neighborhood attorney for many in the local community.
As a native of Murrells Inlet and a former St. James Shark, Woody excelled both academically and athletically. He graduated Cum Laude with a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration from Clemson University and went on to earn his law degree from Charleston School of Law.
Woody is deeply involved in his community and has been a longstanding member of the Murrells Inlet Rotary Club. He is also an active participant in his local church. His professional affiliations include the South Strand Chamber, South Carolina Bar, Horry County Bar, and Georgetown County Bar.Woody’s legal experience spans numerous courts, including Municipal, Family, Probate, Magistrate, and Common Pleas Courts, as well as the South Carolina Court of Appeals and Supreme Court. He also serves as the Local Prosecutor for the Town of Pawleys Island.
